;) Out of the whole slew of quantum paradoxes out in the universe, my personal favorite is the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen "entanglement" one, which describes the idea that interacting subatomic particles such as two photons can affect each other no matter how far apart in time or space. There is much romance in nature.
