PROBE: Wobble

"The business is to ascertain the stylistic assumptions rather than extract meaning and ideas from it." -- McLuhan, H. M. "Review of Mimesis: The Representation of Reality in Western Literature (Erich Auerbach, 1953)."

This is reminiscent of the Electronic Broadcast Network's video mashup technique pioneered in the 90s. EBN's United Tech video is a message coming straight from the service/disservice environment.

Yes. The thesis "we" are exploring is this:

[posted to McLuhan-L by the address: purple@tellurian.com]
"Extensions of our physical senses as agency of socio-perceptive change
= McLuhan

The physical machinic extending the machinic and not our senses =
Kroker and Dobbs

Extensions of the Non-Physical = iON and Dobbstown."

Naturally, some measure of reverence for history is needed/is desirable for the task.
