The World's Worst Dressed Darting-Mouth/Hawaiian & Ben Watson

Bob Dobbs and Ben Watson discussing Zappa and demonstrating SPEAKING AS ART FORM. Here, Bob talks tactility, late-20thC media landscapes and presents the case that McLuhan can serve as a/the "conceptual" parallel of Frank Zappa (Bob--the sartorial nemesis of Tom Wolfe in his prime--can be seen on the left in the photo above ). Ben, by contrast, props up Marx and offers Adorno in place of McLuhan.

Worst dressed???

Any outfit that can bring on an effortless warm smile, outa nowhere, and the comment from over my shoulder as I watch this of "he's obviously very comfortable and sure of himself" can hardly be called the worst...

Unforgettable maybe : )

Though certainly, if the blue Hawaiian eye-dazzler appears a little jarring from your particular trajectory I do empathise!

Anyway, enjoyed very much the oddness of it all, the setting, the brief exchange, the fragmented string of passers by (like wandering sheep straying into your orbit) who obviously had no idea what you were on about, hilarious! and of course the subject, I do love the resolving echo of Zappa' art, another fine wake indeed...

Many thanks

Exactly what I preferred one would notice, Sean.

You are one meticulous dude, percept-wise!

Dear Ion fools...
That guy looks like a German time-travelling tourist from the 80s on crack.
